How do I disable sending emails to all users for topics I follow?

My forum is starting to send a lot of emails. I want it to only send emails to confirm registration, welcome, private messages or recover passwords. At most, if I want to send the emails as communication.

I want to disable the possibility of sending emails to follow topics and resource updates on the forum. I want to leave only the alert. Is there an option to do this?
