Registered member has moderator permissions?

A friendly member of my board just messaged me saying he think there is a bug. He sent me this screenshot:

I confirmed that the system shows him as only a member of Registered. I then when to group permissions for registered and it shows properly that they don't have forum moderator permissions. I checked his permissions and also no moderator permissions.

Does anyone have a clue as to what could be wrong?
