RSS Featured Threads Image Pixelated

I'm not sure if this is actually a bug, or should be considered a suggestion, but I'm leaning more towards it being a bug because it doesn't seem like this would be the intended behavior for most people.

If you feature a thread with an attachment, and don't upload an alternate featured image, guests who view the featured widget are shown an enlarged thumbnail, which displays as a pixelated image. I'm not sure this is a desired behavior for anyone, and it's not immediately noticeable to...
