How to add permanent usergroup to user account upgraded?

Here is my Goal i can't achieved
  • Users buy Premium or VIP membership via Account Upgrade.
  • They are added to:
    • Patron usergroup as permanent and in
    • Premium usergroup or VIP usergroup (temporary, expires with upgrade).
  • When the upgrade expires:
    • They stay in Patron usergroup but
    • They are removed from Premium usergroup or VIP usergroup.
