No reply box text editor with Brave browser, PC and mobile

I have a user contacted us saying there is no reply field.

The reply box appears, but there's nowhere I can actually type anything in. This behaviour also occurs if I use "quote and reply". I've just logged in from the same device using a Chrome browser and all works as expected.
